ABOUT ME

I’m a mixed-media artist and visual storyteller living on Hawai‘i Island. My work often begins with observation — of the land, of its traces, of what remains — and explores patterns of movement, memory, and change through painting, collage, photographs, and occasionally sculpture and installation. Some of my paintings act as maps, tracing relationships between people, histories, and environments. I’m interested in how environment, history, and identity intersect, and how personal experience can reveal larger shared narratives. My work considers the threads that link memory, place, and community.

Alongside my independent projects, I collaborate with artist Keith Tallett in our shared studio, Manukai Designs, where our collaborative work explores place, connection, and the ways people adapt to and relate with their surroundings.

STUDIO NOTES
